Jocelyn Craig, MD

Jocelyn Craig, M.D. is a board-certified urogynecologist who specializes in pelvic floor disorders with Praxis Urogynecology in Long Beach. She serves as the department chair, Obstetrics and Gynecology, at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center.

Her clinical interests include urinary and anal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse management, treatment of chronic bladder conditions (including painful bladder syndrome, interstitial cystitis) and recurrent bladder infections. Dr. Craig is a certified da Vinci® robotic surgeon and is certified in the use of the MonaLisa Touch laser.

Dr. Craig received her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and a residency in obstetrics & gynecology from the University of California, San Francisco-Fresno. She then completed a fellowship in female pelvic medicine & reconstructive surgery (FPMRS) and urogynecology from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) School of Medicine. Dr. Craig is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology in both obstetrics & gynecology (OG-GYN) and urogynecology & female pelvic medicine.

Dr. Craig serves as a member of the teaching faculty at UCI School of Medicine and UCSF-F and has the great privilege of helping train the next generation of physicians. She has lectured, both nationally and internationally, on various topics of women’s health and is the founder of the Pelvic Health Center at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center. Her research focuses on sexual dysfunction and anal incontinence with the work published in multiple peer-reviewed publications.

In addition to her professional commitments, Dr. Craig enjoys reading, spending time with her boys and two dogs. Being outside in her butterfly garden is a gift.
