Sarbpaul Bhalla, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in spinal surgery.

Dr. Bhalla completed his orthopaedic residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and his fellowship in spine surgery at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston, Texas.  He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

His expertise encompasses a wide range of surgical interventions to treat pathologies of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. His specialties include, treatment of degenerative and traumatic spinal disorders, complex adult spinal deformities, cervical deformity and fractures, spinal tumors and osteoporotic compression fractures. He also cares for arthroscopic surgery, including sports medicine and fracture care.

Dr. Bhalla offers minimally invasive techniques whenever possible and treats patients with the newest advancements in spinal care, only considering surgery when absolutely necessary. He has his own private practice in Long Beach and treats all his patients with compassion and care so they can get back to living and enjoying the life he believes everyone deserves.

He is a member of many professional organizations, including the North American Spine Society (NASS), the Association of Presacral Spine Surgeons (APSS), and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS).
